Mr. Buskowitz first laid eyes on Boracay in 1985. What he saw then was a little-known island haven unspoiled by the ravages of man: blinding white and powder fine sands, lush forests and waters of the clearest, purest blue. Accommodations were of the simplest and most basic. Hardly anyone else had discovered the unique allure of Boracay gem. Although traveling to the island was a bit more difficult then, he would come back often from his native Germany and spend days relaxing and just taking in the sights.
